The evening’s centerpiece is the NY premiere of “Through a Glass, Darkly,” a 45 minute highly theatrical rock opera about relationships torn apart by crystal meth. Set in recognizable club and bar culture, the show charts the journeys of a central relationship between 3 gay men and the impact of meth on all their lives. This musically innovative piece with a beautiful score packs a punch. High takes the audience on an emotional roller-coaster, ending on a note of hope, healing, self-realization and renewal.

This boundary breaking evening is part of NYCGMC’s mission to use song to bring light and discussion to issues that affect our entire community.

Western Cup is Apollo’s annual multi-sport tournament. In 2010 we will help celebrate the 28th anniversary of Western Cup – the longest running annual LGBT multi-sport tournament in North America. Apollo was formed in 1981 after a small group of individuals came together with the idea to create an athletic social group for LGBT people in the Calgary area.

During that first year an invitation was extended to a similar group of people in Edmonton to play volleyball in Calgary and the first Western Cup was born. And now each year, they attract over 500 athletes to participate and socialize during Easter weekend – come join the fun and help us celebrate the 28th anniversary at the Manhunt, DList and Manhunt Cares sponsored dance Saturday, April 3rd!

We are very exicted to welcome Dodgeball and the Canadian Gay National Curling Championships to the list of sports this year. Come compete, cheer on the athletes and help celebrate the event at the dance and casino night!
