Here’s a DELIGHTFUL video of two toddlers singing “Ain’t No Homos Gonna Make It To Heaven” at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church in Greensburg, Indiana. The crowd LOVES it. Whoo-hoo! It’s always good to encourage kids to hate people that are different from them.
With any luck, these two will end up being extremely gay. Gay pyromaniacs who will burn that church down. Hopefully with the congregation inside. I kid! I would never support violence. Well, I would support a bitch-slap. I think the parents who taught their kids to sing this song deserve a bitch-slap.
I feel that a lot of people who aren’t exposed to gay people, are uneducated, or raised up with intolerant religions are terrified of what is quickly becoming the time in US history when gay people were finally given their due equal rights and treated with equal protection under the law. We’re not there YET, but the president going to bat for us is pretty big.
That’s what this is – fear. Fear of change, fear of the status quo being threatened. Fear of new ideas. People lash out at what they don’t understand or are afraid of. So they fight their fear by being ignorant and cruel and hiding behind their deity. Despite the fact that from what I understand, their religion is usually asking them to love one another. Also, I’m thinking that Jesus guy they talk about wouldn’t be into being homophobic and being comfortable with blind hatred.
I’m not excusing these fools, I’m just getting where they’re coming from. Fearful and stupid. Sorry about the diatribe/wandering thoughts while blogging.
